| My greatest achievement is standing by my clients at times like the Asian Financial Crisis, Tech Bubble Burst, SARS and the Great Financial Crisis. It was rewarding when clients appreciated how our strategies and risk management worked in both good and bad times. |

| Favourite investment themes for 2013: |
| While I focus on asset allocation and long-term investment themes like global growth and free trade in emerging markets, near-term themes are left to our selected fund managers. Having said that, I find consumer consumption in Asian emerging markets one of the most popular themes among fund managers this year. |
